I just bought a used Kia Sorento, and the previous owner’s stuff is still in the Bluetooth menu. I’ve deleted some of it, but is there a way that I can just reset the whole thing and start fresh?
by pressing Setup > Phone Connection > Bluetooth > Default > Yes on your Kia’s infotainment screen. This will set the Bluetooth back to the factory default settings, and you should be good to go.
This will wipe absolutely everything from the Bluetooth, so if you’ve already paired any devices of your own, you’ll need to do it again. As an important side note, the four-digit factory default authentication code that you’ll need for paring is 0000.
