How do I report a car without insurance?
I'd like to know how to report a car without insurance. I overheard my neighbor saying his son is uninsured, and he drives like a maniac through the neighborhood. How can I report his car if he doesn’t have insurance?

That’s a good question, and I’m sorry you’ve been dealing with such a dangerous driver nearby! As you know, most states require drivers to have an active insurance

policy, so if you suspect that a driver you know doesn’t have one, reach out to your local DMV.A representative will be able to further assist you with the report from there. If the DMV finds that the driver is not insured, they may place a suspension or revocation on their license until the issue is resolved. It then becomes the responsibility of the driver to get adequate coverage.
It might also be in your best interest to contact the local police on their non-emergency line. Explain the situation and ask what the next steps are.
