7 mm and ⅚ inch sockets with ratchet and extension
Flathead screwdriver
Penetrating oil
Filler neck replacement
Begin by opening your gas tank and removing the three 7 mm screws surrounding the opening of your fuel tank.
Unscrew the connecting bolt that attaches the inner tube of your fuel tank to your filler neck. Use penetrating oil to ease the process if your filler neck is rusty.
Use the flathead screwdriver to detach the filler neck from the inner tube completely.
Place a clamp on the inner tube and put penetrating oil on the new filler neck. Turn the new filler neck into the inner tube and tighten it with a screwdriver.
Follow it up with the ⅚ inch sockets to secure it in place.
