How do I rent a car without insurance?

I don't own a car and I don't have car insurance. I do have a license, though, and my friends and I are planning a road trip where I do want to drive. Is there any way I can still rent a car? And if so, how?

“Congrats on the upcoming trip! I’m happy to say that if you want to rent a car, you can do so without car insurance.
Car rental companies anticipate that not all drivers will have car insurance and offer their own line of insurance products instead. As a result, you can get
rental car insurance
, just so long as you have a valid driver’s license.
Note that many policies from the rental car company are expensive, ranging from $10 to $50 per day depending on your coverage. If you rent cars frequently, you may want to consider a
non-owner car insurance
to save money. These policies are usually cheaper than traditional car insurance rates by 15% and are much cheaper than insurance from the rental company.
If you think non-owner car insurance is right for you, use the
Jerry
app to find the right policy! We’ll get you dozens of customized quotes instantly so that all you have to do is pick the one that works best for you.
Drive safely, and bon voyage!”
