, water stains are difficult to remove. Luckily, there are some inexpensive ways to get rid of those stains.
The Vinegar Method
Mix two parts distilled water and one part white vinegar in a large bowl.
Pour the solution into a spray bottle (if available).
Spray or apply the mixture on the hard water stains. Focus on one area at a time. (Don’t worry the solution will not harm your car.)
Rub the water stain gently with a soft, clean cloth (lint-free is great, microfiber is best). Repeat this process as many times as necessary. Note that the longer the stain has been there, the longer it may take to remove.
Rinse your car with a hose or remove the solution manually with a wet rag.
Dry off your car.
The Baking Soda Method
Mix three parts baking soda and one part distilled water in a bowl. For something a little stronger, add a few drops of white vinegar.
Grab a clean cloth and apply a modest amount of the paste to it. Gently rub the affected areas.
Leave the paste on the water spots for 15 minutes—or longer if you deem it necessary.
Remove the paste by rinsing the area with water or water-soaked cloth.
Repeat these steps if necessary.
Dry your vehicle.
