How do I remove odors in my car with baking soda?
My car has a funky odor—I'm fairly sure it came from leaving my windows open during a storm. I cleaned out my car and thought I got all the water out, but now I'm not so sure. I've heard that baking soda can help with nasty smells, but I don't really know where to start. How can I remove the smell from my car with baking soda?

“Storms can do all sorts of funky things to your car—even stink them up! However, I’m happy to say that removing odors in your car with baking soda is super easy. Here’s how:
- Sprinkle baking soda on the seats and carpet.
- Wait 15 minutes and vacuum it up—the odor should be gone.
- As a failsafe, put an open box of baking soda in your car. This will absorb odors before they set into the fabric.
