How do I remove glue from leather car seats?
I picked up my daughter from school and she had a bottle of glue in her bag. It must have opened up because it leaked all over the leather seats in my car. How can I get rid of the glue on my leather car seats?

That’s a bummer! Glue is hard to remove from anything, let alone leather seats. The good news is that with a bit of elbow grease, a scraper, soapy water, and some acetone, you should be able to remove the glue.
To start, gather the following items:
- Scraper
- Hand towel
- Acetone or nail polish remover
- Sponge
- Cotton swabs
Then, follow these steps to remove glue from leather car seats:
- Gently use the scraper to remove the excess glue.
- Apply warm, soapy water to the affected area with a sponge.
- If the soapy water doesn’t work, apply acetone to the area with a cotton swab.
- Dab the area with a towel to remove the glue.
- Wash with warm, soapy water.
- Repeat until the glue is gone.
