in a few steps. You just need to clear the memory and pair the device. The HomeLink controls will be on the rear view mirror, visor, or overhead console.
Press and hold the two outer HomeLink buttons to clear the memory. There are usually three or four buttons with a picture of a house on them, so just don’t press the ones in the center. Release the buttons when the red light flashes. Then, follow these steps:
- Pick which HomeLink button you want to be paired with your garage door.
- Hold the remoteone to three inches away from the HomeLink control and hold down the activation button and the HomeLink button at the same time.
- The lights will start to flash slowly, then faster, and then stop. Once that happens, you can let go.
