How do I program my Infiniti garage door opener?
My dad gave me his 2012 Infiniti and I finally cleaned out my garage so I have a cool place to park it this summer. However, I can't open the garage door! How do I program my Infiniti garage door opener?

You can program your
Infiniti
garage door opener in just a few simple steps, but it is easier with two people.Here’s what to do:
- Find the HomeLink buttons. They will usually be on the rearview mirror or front console.
- Clear the system memory by pressing and holding the two outer HomeLink buttons for about 20 seconds. You will want to see the red indicator light flash.
- Hold the garage door remote one to three inches from the HomeLink buttons, select the HomeLink button you would like to use, then press the HomeLink and transmitter buttons at the same time.
- Wait for the indicator lights to blink and then stay on .
- Now you have 30 seconds to press the Smart button on the garage opener’s motor. You may need a ladder to reach it.
- Next, press the HomeLink button that you just programmed for two seconds and release it. Repeat this two more times.
- Now, the indicator light should be solid red .
