How do I program my 2019 BMW X3 M40i key fob?
I had to get a replacement M40i key for my 2019 BMW X3, and now I need to sync it with my car. How do I program the M40i key fob?

You can set up a new M40i key fob the same as any BMW key—-to program your
2019 BMW X3
M40i key fob, follow these steps:- Start with your key in the ignition. Turn the key from “OFF” to position 1 and back in rapid succession five times in a row.
- Remove your key from the ignition
- Hold down the unlock button on your key fob while you press the BMW logo three times
- Release the unlock button
- Insert your key back into the ignition, then start your car
And that’s all there is to it! Your new key should automatically sync with your BMW upon completing these steps. Of course, if you have any spares or additional keys needing pairing, you’ll need to take additional steps to program them.
