I read the other day that my VW might have some updates for the infotainment system, but I’m pretty sure I haven’t done any updates myself. How do I perform a VW Atlas Infotainment system update?

Great question! There is a few steps involved in a
VW Atlas
Infotainment system update. Just do the following:- Check your center screen for any possible updates. There should be a tab that says “Update available”
- When the software download is finished, you can begin the installation
- When you turn off your vehicle, your infotainment screen will invite you to select “Start” to begin the installation
- You can then exit and lock your vehicle after the installation has begun. The length of the installation depends on the size of the update. The usual installation will last about 15 minutes
- When you restart your car after the installation is complete, you will get an in-vehicle prompt to complete the process
