Unlike vinyl or fabric car seats, leather car seats are decidedly harder to patch. However, this shouldn’t deter you from giving it a go.
The best and easiest way to repair holes in leather car seats is by purchasing a leather repair kit. These are about $10 to $15, so you won’t break the bank.
Follow the instructions on the kit, but make sure you get the right color to match your leather seating. Then, remove any damaged or frayed edges, cutting back the tear about half an inch. Next, you’ll mix the colored filler. Apply enough colorant to fill the tear. After that, put the textured mat that’s included over the top, and apply heat to it to get it to set.
