Not to worry! You can open the gas tank on a 1999
Jeep Grand Cherokee
by pressing the button on the driver’s side door. Under the buttons for your door locks and window controls, there should be a button featuring a gas pump icon.This button can be hard to spot, so take your time looking at your driver’s side door. It should be lower than the trim supporting the other buttons. If you still can’t find it, you may have to reference your owner’s manual to find the exact location.
Once you’re done filling up, don’t forget to close the fuel door before you drive off.
