How do I open the gas tank on a Hyundai Elantra from 2018?
I have a 2018 Hyundai Elantra that I just bought about a week ago. However, it’s my first time filling the tank, and I have no idea how to open the gas tank! What do I do to open the gas tank on a 2018 Elantra?

) doesn’t have any levers, buttons, or latches that allow you to open it from the interior of the vehicle, so it’s a little confusing. To open the gas tank on a Hyundai Elantra from 2018, follow these steps:
- Put the car in park and turn off the engine.
- Make sure that the doors are unlocked.
- Exit the vehicle and walk to the rear driver’s side of the Elantra.
- Firmly press on the right-hand side of the fuel filler door. The door should pop open to reveal the gas tank.
- Push on the same spot to close the door once you’re done refueling.
