How do I open the gas tank on a 2018 Ford Expedition?

I got a great deal on a 2018 Ford Expedition, and I’m champing at the bit to take it on a road trip. However, I have to confess something—I have no idea how to fill the gas tank. What do I do to open it?

The 2018 Ford Expedition doesn’t have any switches, levers, buttons, or key fob options to open the gas tank, so it’s a bit confusing. To open the gas tank on a 2018 Ford Expedition, go to the gas tank on the driver’s side of the vehicle and push on the right-hand side of the fuel filler door.

The fuel filler door is spring-loaded, so as soon as you press it, the door should open. Once you fill the tank, push on the same place to close the door.
