To open the gas tank of a 2017 Lexus IS 200T, the doors of the car need to be unlocked. Then, you press lightly on the outside of the fuel door to open it.

Unlike other models, there is no interior button to release the fuel door on the Lexus IS 200T. To get the fuel door open, you have to leave the car and go around to the fuel door on the side of the vehicle.

With the car doors unlocked, press into the fuel door on the right side. Then you can pull open the door and unscrew the gas cap to fill up the tank.
