I was in an accident last month, and I am not satisfied with how my insurance company has responded, and the amount I received for my claim. How can I negotiate with my insurance company to get more money from my accident?

Here are some tips for making a claim and negotiating with your insurance to make sure you get the claim you deserve: - Document everything: Document all of the damage done to your vehicle and anything else you think might help your insurance company determine a fair claim. The more evidence you have on your side, the more likely you are to get a fair payout. It’s also a good idea to get a police report.
- Make your claim in a timely manner: If you wait too long to file a claim, it could hurt your case because the insurance company will have a hard time determining whether or not the damage happened when you claimed it did.
- Do independent research: Research fair prices for your unique damages and medical bills and see if they line up with your settlement.
- Send a letter (or email) to your insurance company: Once you’ve completed your research and come up with a fair settlement, send your insurance company a detailed Demand Letter with your desired settlement and your evidence.
