How do I mount a truck toolbox without doing any drilling?

A toolbox for your truck is a convenient way to keep all of your tools safe and secure, so it’s a great addition to any truck.
To confirm you can mount a toolbox without drilling a hole in
your truck
, check your truck for pre-drilled holes. You can identify these pre-drilled holes by searching for rubber plugs near the front of your vehicle.If you have them, remove the rubber plugs. Put the tool box in place. The pre-drilled holes should align with the holes in the toolbox.
You can then use the hardware that the tool box came with or J-hooks or nuts and bolts to secure the box. If you need to purchase the hardware, most tool boxes require between four and six bolts. Once installed, tighten the bolts or hardware. Be careful to not overtighten them as they can damage your truck.
If you don’t have pre-drilled holes in your truck, search for toolboxes or kits that are designed without the need for drilling. If you aren’t able to find something that fits your truck, contact an expert or repair shop that may be able to install the toolbox for you.
