I love muscle cars, but I currently can’t afford one. I figure my next best option is to make my car sound like one. So, how can I make my car sound like a muscle car?

One of the easiest things you can do is inspect your car for damage. The exhaust system causes that sound you like so much. Look for any damage in the exhaust system or tubing. Be careful, though; you don’t want to breathe any of that in.
After that, take your car to a professional to make adjustments to get that sound. These adjustments can include:
Replacing the muffler
Adding or replacing the tip of your exhaust system
Adding a turbocharger
Adding a supercharger
All of these offer different sounds, and many times manufacturer websites will let you sample the sound to decide what you want. Your local body shop should also help you achieve the sound you want while making sure you’re following local noise laws.
Anytime you make changes to your car, you should talk to your insurance company to make sure they can help protect your new investment. If they don’t offer the support you seek for your unique sound, it might be time to make changes to your
