Practice acceleration: Think about how you accelerate and practice in as many different road and weather conditions as possible. For example, if you go up an incline you will need to apply more effort to the gas pedal and when you go downhill you will need to apply less effort. Keep with traffic: If you’ve only practiced in an empty parking lot, it’s time to graduate to some light traffic driving. Prevent yourself from overthinking by paying more attention to your surroundings—it can help make constant speed come more naturally.
