The first and most obvious tip: shop around. Get quotes from at least three to five carriers and compare the plans carefully. Rates can vary significantly between insurers, and this is even more true for young drivers like yourself.
Third tip: consider raising your deductible. The higher your deductible, the lower your rate.
Fourth tip: ask your insurance company if you can install a telematics device in your truck that will allow them to provide a customized, possibly lower rate based on your driving habits.
