How do I keep a car clean at the beach?
I'm always frustrated by how much sand I drag back into my Subaru when I go to the beach. Are there any tips or tricks for leaving the sand behind?

“Even though it’s fun to take your car to the beach, the sand can be frustrating, and many other drivers share your dilemma.
On your way back to your car, be sure to shake out all towels and blankets to remove excess sand. Many beaches have outdoor showers, so you can try to either rinse or brush off your feet as well.
If you can, bring a second pair of shoes to wear in the car. You can also lay clean towels on the seats and floors to catch any sand.
For all that tricky extra sand that still comes with you, it may be handy to keep a portable vacuum in your vehicle. If you want to suck as much sand as possible when vacuuming, go slowly. When you vacuum too quickly over mats and seats, the sand particles tend to jump around and end up out of reach.
