It’s a good thing you’re paying attention to how your car feels, but improving your vehicle’s suspension can be an intensive process. Having a good suspension is crucial to the life of your car, but it may be difficult to fix this on your own.
If you do opt to tackle repairs on your own, one of the simplest ways to fix your suspension is by adding anti-roll or sway bars. These will reduce the roll of your car on tight corners because they even out the tension from the inner to the outer wheel.
Another option is to replace your shocks and struts. If your vehicle feels stiff, this may be because your car is outfitted with high-performance shocks: great for racers, but not for casual drivers. Replacing these with softer shocks will help.
Finally, consider installing softer springs. Stiffer, lower performance springs may be the cause of your suspension issues. Softer, taller springs will make for a smoother ride.
You can always take your car to a professional mechanic, too. If your suspension is out due to an accident or collision, you’ll want a good
