You can download your Subaru infotainment system update to your car in a few easy steps. Here’s what you need to do:
Turn the engine ON and select settings on the infotainment home screen

Scroll down until you find System information and click this option
If the system shows REL_UA.20.38.70 or Rel_UA.20.41.70 as your software version, then no updates are needed! If neither of these versions are listed, continue with downloading the software update
Connect your vehicle to an active Wi-Fi network
On the general settings screen, click Check for updates
A pop up will appear that says Software update ready to download. Click Download now
When the download is done, select Install now on the installation pop up
The installation will begin and reboot the infotainment system
When you get the *I agree pop up, click the agreement button to complete the process
And you’re done! Now, you can turn your engine off or continue setting up your updated infotainment system.
