How do I get driving privileges in Ohio?

I want to apply for limited driving privileges after losing all driving privileges, but I’m not sure how to do that in Ohio. Will I have to go back to court to get my driving access back?

I’m sorry to hear that you had your driving privileges revoked! In order to get limited driving privileges in
Ohio
, you’ll need to contact the BMV and put in a request for limited driving privileges. You can do this by visiting
the BMV website
and locating the motion you’ll need in the forms library or by visiting your local branch.
Then, you’ll need to file your motion in person at the courthouse and pay a $50 fee for the motion. If your motion is passed, you’ll be granted driving privileges under certain restrictions.
You’ll also probably have to pay quite a bit in car insurance since you’ll be marked as a risky driver. Check out the
Jerry
app to make sure that you’re still getting the best rates available to you.
