How do I get an Illinois driving record online?

I was worried that something catastrophic might be on my driving record that I don’t know about, especially after my car insurance rates went up. Is there any way for me to get my Illinois driving record online?

While you can still go into any Illinois DMV or Secretary of State’s office to purchase a driving record, you can get an Illinois driving record online by following these steps.
  1. Look through the online services.
  2. Select driving record abstract.
  3. Fill out the necessary information, including your driver’s license number, full legal name, date of birth, last four digits of your Social Security number, and any other information.
  4. Pay the $13 fee.
  5. Print off the driving record. Note that it’s in PDF form, so you may need to download a PDF reader.
Hopefully, you don’t find any surprises on your driving record. But if your
