While you can still go into any Illinois DMV or Secretary of State’s office to purchase a driving record, you can get an Illinois driving record online by following these steps.
- Look through the online services.
- Select driving record abstract.
- Fill out the necessary information, including your driver’s license number, full legal name, date of birth, last four digits of your Social Security number, and any other information.
- Pay the $13 fee.
- Print off the driving record. Note that it’s in PDF form, so you may need to download a PDF reader.
