If you want to get a tow truck for GTA 5 online, you shouldn’t have too much trouble. However, getting one quickly uses a minor glitch, so get ready for some weird movements.
To get a tow truck in GTA 5 online, follow these steps:
- Make sure that your garage is completely full of cars.
- Walk out of your garage and go to Los Santos Customs.
- Leave GTA online and go to single-player mode.
- Hop in a tow truck that you can find in Dignity Village on the north side of the map.
- Go back into GTA 5 online.
- Park a car inside Los Santos Customs so that the garage door is closing on it.
- Go to the Xbox Live or PS4 Store and sign out while the screen is loading.
- Reload the game.
- Pause the game and load a saved game.
- Go back to the tow truck in the single-player game.
- Drive the tow truck to the same Los Santos Customs that you went to in GTA 5 online.
- Park the tow truck in front of the garage.
- Go back to GTA 5 online and you should find the tow truck where you parked it in single-player mode.
