The leather on my driver seat’s armrest is getting cracked and, frankly, kind of gross. I’d love to fix it myself if possible. How do I fix the cracked leather on my armrest?

We’re glad you’re taking care of your car—it’s these little comforts that make our vehicles special. Here’s how you can fix your car’s cracked leather armrest.
First, try some leather conditioner. This works best for dried-out leather with minor cracks. Sometimes the extra moisture will help.
If this isn’t enough, you’ll want to use leather dye and leather filler.
First, sand down the leather and apply leather filler to any deep cracks.
Once this has dried, sand again and apply the leather dye.
After the dye has dried, you should be good to go!
Repeat this process if you’re unhappy with the results.
