How do I fix bumper plate holes?

I just moved from New York to Pennsylvania. In New York, you need to have a license plate on the front and rear bumpers. But here in PA, it’s just the back bumper. Can I fix bumper plate holes left behind by the old front license plate?

Congrats on moving to the Keystone State!
Pennsylvania
is one of the 20 states that don’t require a front license plate. The cheapest and quickest fix way to fix bumper plate holes is to buy bumper plugs. These are available for $5 to $20 at your neighborhood auto parts store, some home improvement stores, and online.
Bumper plugs may not be perfect, but they’re really your best bet when looking to fix bumper plate holes. They’re cheap as heck, functional, easy to put in yourself at home, and won’t be noticeable by most people. Unless you’re cruising around in a Ferrari, the bumper plugs should suit you just fine.
If you’d like a more permanent solution, you can take the car to a body shop. But this is an expensive option, costing as much as $300 to $500. That said, you can always take your car to a
shop for a quote
to determine if you’d prefer to have a professional repair the holes.
