To fix Bluetooth lag in a car, there are several possible solutions, including moving your phone closer or performing a factory reset on the stereo.
To start, try turning it off and on again. In all seriousness, this solution could be a simple fix to your audio lag. If it doesn’t work, try one of these tactics:
- Ensure your Bluetooth device is within range.
- Remove objects that could be blocking the signal.
- Charge your device until the battery is full.
- Look for signal interference from other Bluetooth devices.
It’s worth confirming your car stereo is compatible with your device as well. Some stereos are only compatible with certain generations of Bluetooth, like 3.1 or 4. Pairing a device and receiver from different generations can result in a lag.
