I hit a tree and I need to file a claim with my car insurance. I have full coverage with State Farm. How do I file a claim with them?

, you can submit a claim under your collision coverage
. Collision coverage protects your vehicle from any damage when it collides with another vehicle or object. To submit a claim with State Farm, you can go online, through their mobile app, or by calling 1-800-SF-CLAIM, or 1-800-732-5246.
Once you report your damage, a claim adjuster will review the details of your claim. They’ll let you know if they need any further information and what happens next in the process. You will also need to get an estimate from a repair shop. If approved, State Farm will pay for your repairs.
