How do I donate a car to Goodwill?

I just purchased a new vehicle and want to get rid of my old vehicle. It's a 2004 Mitsubishi and it runs fine. I thought the best option would be to donate the car. How do I donate a car to Goodwill?

Donating your vehicle to Goodwill is a great way to get rid of an
old, used vehicle
while helping those in need.
The process is easy and only takes a few minutes. First, call your local Goodwill or use their online donation form to provide information about your vehicle. After that, Goodwill will arrange a free pickup and will tow the vehicle at your convenience.
Once the vehicle is donated, Goodwill will sell the vehicle. The proceeds will go to funding Goodwill and its partner organizations.
As the donor, you will get a tax-deductible donation receipt.
Be sure that you let your insurance company know that you have gotten rid of the vehicle so you can take that car off your policy. If you want help with the paperwork, use the free
Jerry
app. Jerry helps with all the paperwork, so you can focus on what matters.”
