Sorry you’re dealing with this annoying problem! To delete a Bluetooth device from a
Chevy Equinox
, remove your phone from the vehicle’s menu or vice versa.
The first option is to find the list of paired devices on your vehicle’s touchscreen menu. Once you find your phone name, tap Delete.
Another option is to go to your smartphone’s list of paired Bluetooth devices. The Chevy should show up on your list. Tap Delete or Forget to remove the car from your phone.
In some cases, your Chevy’s MyLink infotainment system might have out-of-date software. Go to the Chevrolet website and download the Bluetooth software. Use the USB port to connect your phone to your Equinox. If this doesn’t work, reach out to your local Chevy dealership.
Car technology gets better and better every year. If you’re encountering issues with your Equinox, it could be time to look for a newer vehicle. There are aftermarket products that can bring
Bluetooth capability to older cars
, too.
Hope this helps!
