I bought a slightly older Civic from a rental car company last week. I’ve finally gotten around to personalizing the settings, and I discovered that all the Bluetooth slots were filled (presumably by people who had rented the car in the past). How do I delete a Bluetooth device from a 2019 Honda Civic?

It does take time to get used to a new vehicle! Fortunately, it only takes a minute to delete Bluetooth devices from your
Honda Civic
. Here’s what you need to do:- Press the Phone Button Icon on your Civic.
- Select the Phone Setup option by pressing the center knob on the scroll wheel.
- Select the Bluetooth Setup option.
- Use the scroll wheel to get to Delete Device.
- Scroll to the phone you want to delete and select it.
- Press Yes to confirm that you want to delete it.
That’s it! Repeat the process for every phone you want to remove from your Civic’s Bluetooth. Then, pair your own device by selecting the Phone Button Icon and enabling Bluetooth on your smartphone. The Civic’s screen will ask if you want to add a new phone, so say, Yes.
Press HandsFreeLink on your phone and check that the pairing code on your phone matches the code on the car screen. You’ll see a successful confirmation notice appear if the device is paired.
