How do I delete a Bluetooth device from a 2018 Honda HR-V?
I lent my car to a friend while I was out of town last month. I only realized yesterday when she was in the car with me that her phone is still paired with my car. How do I delete a Bluetooth device from my 2018 Honda HR-V?

. First, make sure your car is on and safely parked. Now let’s follow these steps to get the device deleted:- On your infotainment screen’s home screen, press settings (you may need to scroll to the second page to find it)
- Select Bluetooth/ Wi-Fi from this menu
- Select Bluetooth device list
- Select the device you want to remove from this list
- Select delete this device
- You’ll be asked to confirm deleting the device. Select yes, and this device will be deleted from the car. To use that device in the future, you’d need to pair it again
It’s pretty easy to delete a Bluetooth device from your Honda HR-V, but there’s one mildly confusing issue you may encounter: if you and your friend both have the same phone, or even the same brand of phone, they might appear in the device list with the same name.
As a general rule, devices go into the list sequentially—the first added device will be on top. So if both entries say “Galaxy” or “iPhone”, and your phone was paired with the car first, try deleting the second phone. Though it’s not a high-stakes situation, of course. If you delete the wrong device you’ll need to pair it again.
