How do I delete a Bluetooth device from a 2017 Honda Civic?

I’m ditching my Civic for a sweeter ride as I’m moving on up in the world, what with my dry cleaning business taking off this year! I’ll be trading the Civic in, so I’ve got to remove my phone from the car’s infotainment system. How do I delete a Bluetooth device from a 2017 Honda Civic?

You’ll need to go into your 2017
Honda Civic
’s phone settings in order to delete a Bluetooth device.
Thankfully, doing so is easy, so you won’t saddle the next owner of this Civic with your phone still on the its system. Here’s how to easily delete a Bluetooth device from your 2017 Honda Civic:
  • First, turn your radio on
  • Next, tap the Phone button
  • When the screen asks if you want to connect a phone, select No
  • Next, tap the Phone Setup tab
  • Now, select the Bluetooth Setup tab
  • Now scroll through the options and select Delete Device
  • Now you’ll see a listing of all the Bluetooth devices paired with the Civic—select the one you want to delete
  • A confirmation screen will appear asking if you really want to delete this Bluetooth device—since you don’t have time for such tom-foolery, select Yes
  • A confirmation screen will appear telling you the selected Bluetooth device has been deleted
