I’m tired of spending what feels like my entire paycheck on gas, can you tell me how to convert my car to electric?

To convert your car to electric, you will need to remove the combustion engine, exhaust, and gearbox, and replace them with batteries and electric motors.
There are two primary methods for converting your car to an electric engine. The first is by purchasing an electric car conversion kit with an electric motor, high-voltage cabling, DC-DC converters, onboard chargers, and everything else you’d need to complete the transition. The second method involves taking the motors and batteries from older electric cars, like a Nissan Leaf.
Although an electric car comes with tons of benefits—they’re eco-friendly and can save you money on gas, to name just two–-but converting your car to electric can cost a tidy chunk of change. Be prepared to spend a staggering $6,000 for the parts and another $1,000 to $3,000 for the battery installation.
Regardless of whether or not you decide to convert your car to electric, you should keep it protected with a great
