Congrats on getting your new-to-you Chevy Malibu
! We hope you’re enjoying the car on your daily commute. And yes, we’d love to help you get the Bluetooth
working in your Malibu. Thankfully, it’s a fairly simple process that won’t gobble up too much of your time when you’re leaving for work in the morning. The 2013 Chevy Malibu was one of the first cars to introduce the Chevy MyLink technology, allowing you to connect via Bluetooth or USB. And connecting your Bluetooth device to your Chevy Malibu is pretty straightforward, too.
Before we begin, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone or other device. You don’t want to go through all of these steps and discover an issue, only to realize your phone’s Bluetooth isn’t ready to go.
On your infotainment screen, find and click the phone icon. Here, you’ll find an “add new phone” icon. Click that, and then find your device from the list of devices shown. When you click it, you should see confirmation codes on your device and the infotainment screen.
Make sure these codes match, and then go onto the device and see if it needs you to confirm the connection. Once the confirmation is given, you should be fully connected to your Malibu.
We hope this guide helps!
