I bought a newer-model Ford Focus from a private seller. She told me that the car has Bluetooth, but she didn’t have the owner’s manual. How do I pair my phone to the Bluetooth feature on the Ford Focus?

Connecting Bluetooth to the Ford Focus should only take you about two minutes even without the owner’s manual. Follow these steps to instantly pair your Bluetooth device to the Ford Focus:
Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
Press the phone button on the center dashboard near the radio and climate control.
Select Add Phone.
Look for SYNC on your phone under the list of Bluetooth devices and select it.
Make sure that the PIN on the Focus touchscreen matches the one on your phone.
Wait about 30 seconds and your phone should pair to the Focus SYNC infotainment system.
Your device should connect automatically in the future. From here, you can control the music from your dashboard or the controls on your steering wheel.
In the future, you can always download the owner’s manual online or contact a Ford dealer to get one.
