How do I connect Bluetooth to a Lexus NX 200t?
I’m borrowing a friend’s Lexus NX 200t for a couple of weeks and I’m not sure how many features I can expect. I usually connect my phone with Bluetooth if I’m driving for an extended period. Is that an option for the NX 200t?

It’s good to check for Bluetooth before you get on the road! The
Lexus NX 200t
was produced from 2015 to 2017 and all model years should be equipped with Bluetooth capabilities.Connecting your phone to a Lexus NX 200t is fairly straightforward! Once your phone is paired, you should be able to stream music, make hands-free calls, and access your phone’s other Bluetooth-supported features.
To connect via a Lexus NX 200t’s Bluetooth, follow these steps:
- Enable Bluetooth on your phone.
- In a safe location, park your Lexus and with your feet away from the pedals, push the Power button once. This will turn on the multimedia system.
- Use the center console to select Menu.
- Use the controls to choose Setup > Bluetooth > Add device.
- Choose your phone or device from the list shown.
- Follow the prompts on your phone and the Lexus screen. You may have to type a code.
- Go back to the Bluetooth screen and select your device. Your phone should now be paired with your Lexus!
- To stream music or other audio, use the Audio menu on the multimedia screen to select your paired device.
