Even if you don’t have Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, Bluetooth is a viable alternative to make hands-free calls and listen to music in your BMW 528i. To connect Bluetooth on a 528i, follow these simple instructions:
Activate Bluetooth on your phone.
Select the communications menu on the BMW screen.
Select manage mobile devices.
Choose connect new device.
Choose telephone.
You should see your phone information appear on the screen.
Select this device (your phone).
Press OK.
Select OK on your phone.
Your phone will automatically connect to the system for hands-free calling and streaming audio.
