We’ve all forgotten things on the top of our car! To clean the sunblock off your car, all you need is some car wash shampoo, a microfiber cloth or applicator pad, and a little bit of elbow grease!
You’re going to want to wash the sunblock off of your car as soon as possible, as sunblock can leave stains on your
paint job
if it sits too long. Follow these steps to remove the sunblock from the roof of your car:
  • Step 1: Wash the whole area with soap and water to remove the majority of the sunblock and any debris that could scratch your paint.
  • Step 2: Apply heavy-duty car wash shampoo to the microfiber cloth or applicator pad and rub the areas affected by sunblock using a gentle but firm circular motion. You want to remove the sunblock without damaging or scratching the paint.
  • Step 3: Rinse off the shampoo once the area has been thoroughly washed.
  • Step 4: Dry the area with a microfiber cloth which will also remove any remaining oil from the sunblock.
Once your car is squeaky clean, why not find an equally shiny insurance plan?
