How do I check to see if my Hyundai is still under warranty?

I have a relatively new Hyundai that I’m pretty sure is still under warranty, but how do I check this to make sure?

To find out if your Hyundai is still under warranty:
  • Locate your Hyundai’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
  • Call a Hyundai dealer (preferably the one from whom you bought your Hyundai)
Your Hyundai dealer will be able to look up your vehicle and tell you exactly how much warranty coverage you have left. To give you an idea of where you might stand, all new Hyundais purchased in 2005 or after featured the following coverage:
  • 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty
  • 5-year/60,000-mile new vehicle limited warranty
  • 7-year/unlimited-mile anti-corrosion/perforation limited warranty
  • 5-year/unlimited-mile roadside assistance
  • 12-month/12,000-mile replacement parts and accessories limited warranty
  • 8-year/80,000-mile federal emission defect and performance warranty
  • 7-year/70,000-mile CA emissions control systems warranty
  • 10-year/100,000-mile hybrid/electric battery & hybrid system components warranty (if applicable)
Keeping up with your car’s warranty is a great way to ensure you don’t accidentally pay for something that’s already covered. The same goes for
