How do I check tire pressure on a Honda Civic?
My Honda Civic has been pulling to the right the past few times that I’ve driven it. I’m fairly certain it’s the tire pressure, but I’ve never checked tires before. What do I need to do to check the tire pressure on a Civic?

Your car pulling to one side could be several different issues, but checking tire pressure is a low-cost solution that should definitely be your starting point. To check tire pressure on a Honda Civic, follow these steps:
- Turn your Civic to Accessories mode.
- Look at the dashboard to see if the tire pressure monitoring system light is illuminated. If you don’t have this feature, skip this step.
- Look on the driver’s side door jamb for the proper tire pressure. Alternatively, you can check the owner’s manual.
- Locate the valve stem on the tire and unscrew it.
- Hook on a tire gauge and press it against the stem. This will give you a psi reading of the tire.
- Inflate the tire with compressed air if necessary. You can also take air out of the tire by using the backside of the tire gauge.
- Check all of your tires.
If filled correctly, you shouldn’t feel a pull to the right and your tire pressure monitoring system light should go off.
