How do I check the tire pressure on my Honda Accord?
My tire pressure light is on, so I know I need to check my tire pressure. But I’m not sure how to do that on my 2002 Accord. Typically, my grandson does it for me. What’s the easiest way to check the tire pressure on my Honda Accord?

checking your tire pressure
is very simple! To check the tire pressure on your Honda Accord
, you need to:- Remove the valve stem cap from the tire.
- Take a tire gauge and put it over the opening of the valve stem. You may need to adjust it until you no longer hear hissing.
- Your tire gauge will show the pressure by either a bar popping out of the bottom or by displaying it.
- After the reading is complete, reset the gauge and repeat steps 3 and 4 for each tire.
- Look at the door jamb on the driver’s side for the recommended pressure or PSI. If the tire gauge reading indicates the pressure is low, use an air compressor to add air. If the tire is overinflated, depress the valve stem to let the air out.
Remember, anytime you make adjustments to your tire’s pressure, you’ll need to recheck it with the tire gauge.
