How do I check my Alabama driving record online?

My car insurance rates recently went up quite a bit, but I’m not sure why exactly. A friend of mine told me to request a copy of my Alabama driving record, just to make sure that there’s nothing on it I’m not aware of. How can I check my driving record online in Alabama?

To check your Alabama driving record online, follow these steps:
  1. Find the request driving record link at the bottom left of the page on a laptop or at the bottom of the list on your phone.
  2. Enter your Alabama driver’s license number, your full legal name, date of birth, zip code, and the last six digits of your Social Security number.
  3. Pay the $5.75 fee.
Hopefully, you don’t find any surprises on your Alabama driving record. But if your car insurance rates go up anyways, you may as well take a few minutes to cut your
