To charge your new Prius plug-in, connect it to a Type 2 electric vehicle charger. The charge port is on the rear side panel of the car, similar to where a fuel tank door would be.
Public charging stations will have a Type 2 charger. Many charge stations are free, but any that boost fast or rapid chargers will likely cost money. For ease, you can also have one installed in your home.
