How do I change my Mazda CX 5 key fob’s battery?
I think I’m missing something here. I have been trying to open my key fob for my Mazda CX 5 for a while now, and the thing doesn’t seem to open at all. How do you change the batteries in a Mazda fob?

, you’ll want to follow the steps listed below in order to change the battery to a Mazda CX 5 fob battery:- Pull the small black release switch on the bottom of the fob and take out the metal auxiliary key
- Your next step is to carefully remove both of the battery covers.
- Once the covers are off, you should be able to easily see and remove the old battery.
- Install a CR2025 battery new battery
- Replace the battery covers and you should be good to go!
