How do I avoid leg pain while driving?

About 15-20 minutes into my morning commute, I always get a restless pain running through my legs. I know I can’t be the only one. Any tips on how to avoid leg pain while driving?

Trust us, you’re definitely not the only one. The most important thing you can do is keep your knees in line with your body. Leaning to one side or the other creates imbalances in the pelvis which can lead to leg pain. If that doesn’t do the trick, consider purchasing a car wedge cushion or car lumbar support. Both of these devices help improve driving posture and can be effective in reducing leg pain while behind the wheel. It’s also important to consider whether or not your vehicle is an appropriate size for you. Vehicles are simply not a one-size-fits-all. An NBA player is probably going to experience some leg pain in a Mini-Cooper. It might sound silly, but warming up your leg muscles with some light stretching before you hit the road might help to prevent the pain you’re feeling. If you don’t notice any change with these tips, however, it’s worth seeing a doctor to check for any underlying issues. High car insurance rates are also a pain.
