How do banks verify income for an auto loan?

I’m about to apply for a car loan but I often work for cash, so I’m worried they won’t be able to verify my income. How will my bank ask to verify my earnings so I can get an auto loan?

Good luck with your car loan application! A bank will verify your annual income by requiring all loan applicants to submit a paystub from the last 30 days. It must include your year-to-date earnings.
It doesn’t matter if you work part-time or full-time but if you work more than one job you will need to submit a paystub from each workplace.
